Perioperative
Nurse Careers

Our Perioperative Nurses provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during and after surgery. These activities include patient assessment, creating and maintaining a sterile and safe surgical environment, pre- and post-operative patient education, monitoring the patient’s physical and emotional well-being, and integrating and coordinating patient care throughout the surgical care continuum.

When working for the Dartmouth-Hithcock Perioperative department, you’ll enjoy benefits such as:

  • A Shared Governance Model
  • Work-Life Balance Culture
  • Earned Time Off
  • Free Continuing Education Opportunities On-Site.
  • PSTs

This position supports the nursing staff by helping to prepare and manage the environmental functions that support patient care.

  • CST School

  • I&L

Inventory and Logistics is where all of the disposable products necessary for surgery are stored. I&L staff manage and move product as needed.

  • Center for Surgical Innovation (CSI)
