Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a national leader in patient-centered health care and building a sustainable health system. DHMC is home to the only air ambulance service, as well as the Norris Cotton Cancer Center, one of only 41 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the nation, and the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, the state’s only Children’s Hospital Association-approved, comprehensive, full-service children’s hospital. We are also proud to have affiliation agreements with several community health system partners through New Hampshire and Vermont.

To qualify for these exceptional opportunities you must:

  • Possess a degree in nursing from an accredited school (BSN preferred)
  • Be licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of New Hampshire or Vermont or, hold a compact RN license
  • Have 3 or more years of experience as a practicing registered nurse, preferably at an academic medical hospital, 2 years should be within your care specialty
  • Be BLS certified for ambulatory and inpatient general care positions, or BLS and ACLS for ICU and ED positions
  • Pass a physical examination, drug test and background check
  • Pass a care area specific, telemetry and medication test

  • Earn up to $40 per hour
  • Earn lucrative shift differentials
  • Receive travel reimbursement of up to $400 per assignment
  • Provide your own housing and receive $1,500 per pay period in housing allowance (taxable)
  • Gain valuable nursing experience at New Hampshire’s only academic medical center which is one of three Level 1 Trauma Centers in Northern New England
