The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is our 21 bed Level 1 Trauma Center Recovery Unit for a very busy 26 room OR. PACU provides an opportunity to provide care for patients in a variety of services, including but not limited to; Trauma, Transplant, Cardiology/Electrophysiology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Vascular, General, Gynecology, Oncology, Plastics, Urology, Bariatric, and Interventional Radiology. This high acuity unit offers a 12 hour day/night shift rotation with 3 on-call shifts within an 8 week period.
